What are sex toys made of?
Silicone

All about Lube

Water-Based Lubricant

Silicone-Based Lubricant
Silicone-based are also great all-around products, much like water-based lubes. There are two notable differences however: they are waterproof, so they are great for sex underwater, and they can ruin silicone toys, so keep them away from them!
Petroleum-Based Lubricant
Made from petroleum jelly, mineral oil or petrolatum, this category includes Vaseline products and baby oil. The most important thing to remember about these, is that they destroy latex - so they are a no-no with latex toys, condoms, cervical caps, diaphragms and other latex items. Petroleum-based lubes can also irritate the vagina, so we do not recommend their use in that way. Many people like them for masturbation or anal sex however.
Oil-Based Lubricant
Like petroleum-based lubes, oil-based lubes destroy latex. They also can stain sheets and can be difficult to wash off. However, they do not generally irritate the vagina, are good for masturbation and anal sex, and work great in water.
Anal sex for women
The anus is rich in nerve endings, and some women can orgasm from the pelvic contractions combined with the excitement of anal play.
Take your time - Give yourself time to relax and experiment. Practice tensing and relaxing your anal muscles to loosen up.
